Ukraine's Rada Suspended Work — Deputies Massively Poisoned

Ukraine's parliament could not work at the February 12 session — deputies say they might have been poisoned in the Rada's canteen.

As "UP" writes, dozens of deputies are involved. The number "up to 30 people's deputies" is mentioned. Most have similar symptoms: high fever, loss of strength, intestinal upset, and diarrhea.

Some interlocutors suggest that they might have been poisoned in the deputies' canteen, although not all infected individuals ate there.

Other interlocutors are convinced that all symptoms resemble signs of rotavirus, outbreaks of which have been recorded in recent weeks in Bukovel, and in other cities, including the capital.

Due to the sudden illness, the parliament could not convene for its February 12 session. Therefore, the Rada was forced to close the parliamentary session.

The next plenary week will begin on February 24.
