Polls before the elections to the Coordination Council show that Latushka has retained the highest public trust
Judging by the polls, the list of Pavel Latushka and the "For Freedom" movement may even gain an absolute majority of seats in the political representation of independent society.

The dirt did not stick to Pavel Latushka, deputy head of the United Transitional Cabinet, although he was the target of heavy propaganda "shit-artillery". The former Minister of Culture, who sided with the people in 2020, remains one of the most popular figures in the opposition.
This is confirmed by online polls on the popularity of lists for the elections to the IV convocation of the Coordination Council, which are scheduled to take place from May 11 to 17, 2026.
Few dare to vote in the elections to the Coordination Council under repression. In the last elections in 2024, 6,700 people cast their votes via the electronic platform, despite attempts by propaganda to discredit and intimidate them. Nevertheless, their preferences are quite representative of opposition supporters.
In a poll created by Reform.news on April 20 (according to "Nasha Niva"'s observations, no manipulations, which become noticeable through sharp jumps in results, have been recorded there yet), preferences were distributed as follows:

As of 14:58, about 55% of those who had decided intended to vote for the bloc of Pavel Latushka and the "For Freedom" movement. This is more than in the 2024 elections, where he received about 35% of the voters' votes.
Latushka's bloc has no obvious competitor. The "Volya" (Will) list, whose core consists of current and former Kalinoŭski volunteers, garners about 9%. The "European Choice" list, led by Valery Matskevich, head of the United Transitional Cabinet's apparatus, and the "Stop Being Afraid" list by blogger Tatsiana Martynava, both get 7%.
An earlier poll, conducted by Euroradio, yielded similar results. However, at some point, votes in it were manipulated in favor of the "Law and Order" bloc.
Apparently, society sees Pavel Latushka as a solid figure capable of worthily representing Belarusians. The regime's slanders only strengthen trust in this politician.
It appears that the defection or covert agency activities of Anzhalika Melnikava, who was proposed as Council speaker specifically by Latushka, did not affect trust in him.
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, who had previously been quite skeptical of the Coordination Council, nevertheless called on Belarusians to vote in the elections for this body.
"People who decided to run for the Coordination Council made a conscious choice. They understood what they would face: pressure, threats, risks. And yet they chose to run. And this commands sincere respect.
Belarus is being built in every decision, in every choice. And the Coordination Council will be what we make it. Now, at this stage of the election campaign, it is especially important not to rush, but to carefully familiarize ourselves with the lists, with the people running for the Coordination Council, and with the content of their programs. Because a conscious choice begins with understanding. The better we know who and what we are voting for, the stronger our common position will be. Today is the time to read, compare, delve into the essence, and decide - so that our vote is not just a voice, but a responsible choice for the future of Belarus," says Tsikhanouskaya.
The elections for the IV convocation of the CC will be held from May 11 to 17, with nine blocs and 174 candidates participating.
In her video address, the democratic leader thanked everyone who continues to support Belarus, speak, and act. She emphasizes that change begins with participation.
