"We have a very positive attitude towards the participants of this large-scale event and wanted to support them in expressing an anti-war, anti-totalitarian stance, but it so happened that on June 12, that is, at the time of our supposed performance, people who profess other values, different from ours, will be celebrating the so-called "Russia Day".
VOLSKI's performance on this day could be misunderstood and even used by hostile forces for their destructive interests. Once again, we express our support to the participants of OUT LOUD and see you next time!" — wrote Lyavon Volski.
It was previously reported that, in addition to Lyavon Volski and his band, Russian performers and bands Noize MC, Monetochka, "Akvarium", "Mashina Vremeni", and also the Ukrainian band 20TOKENS were supposed to take part in the concert. All of them firmly hold anti-Putin and pro-Ukrainian positions.
