This year, construction of the eighth quarter will begin in North Shore – more than 40 cottages are planned there.
This was reported at a meeting chaired by Minsk City Executive Committee Chairman Uladzimir Kukharau, writes the "Minsk-Novosti" agency.
Earlier, the developer described how this would look.
"The maximum height of individual buildings will be two floors. In format, the houses will be similar to townhouses," said Anton Rusakevich, director of "Riverside Development Limited," in October 2025.
What else awaits North Shore?
"To date, 16 houses have been put into operation, nine of them in 2025. In addition, a picturesque park has been landscaped, and the Minsk International Exhibition Center, a fire station, and a kindergarten are already functioning," said Rusakevich. "Work is currently underway on 25 residential buildings. As for social facilities, construction of a school for 1020 places with two swimming pools has begun. It is intended to be completed in 2027. There are no problematic issues. Also, in 2026, we are starting the 'development' of the 5th, 6th, and 7th quarters. In 2027, we intend to begin work on another kindergarten."
Lakeside Park will also change – its landscaping will continue by increasing its territory. This will start already this year.
