Unified qualification exam for college graduates to be conducted on an experimental basis

It will take place next year.

A unified qualification exam for college graduates will be conducted on an experimental basis in the 2026/27 academic year. Anna Boiko, head of the vocational and secondary specialized education department of the Ministry of Education, told reporters about this, writes BelTA.

"The demonstration exam held in Russian colleges served as an example," said Anna Boiko. "This year, we launched a pilot project, and it was successful. We will create a large list of professions that are most in demand in the economy. The exam will be conducted for them. It will be a single task for all graduates of one profession. The work will be evaluated by an independent expert commission, which will include representatives of customer enterprises. The exam will be held centrally on unified days and at the same time."

529 college students participated in the pilot project for conducting the exam.

Anna Boiko emphasized that in the 2026/27 academic year, the exam will be held as part of experimental activities. Changes to the regulatory framework will be introduced later.
