“As a result of an enemy attack on our energy infrastructure, the city was temporarily left without electricity,” announced Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Russian-appointed governor of Sevastopol, at midnight.
He urged local residents to conserve phone battery and not overload the network when electricity reappears.
Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" claims that the Balaklava TPP could have been hit – after a powerful explosion, electricity disappeared in the city. During the Ukrainian UAV raid, a fire also broke out at a large water supply facility – urban hydrological complex No. 3 near the village of Shturmovoye, but the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
