On the afternoon of February 21, near house No. 42 on Independence Avenue in Minsk (at the corner with Kozlova Street), a BMW car caught fire. The 33-year-old driver noticed smoke coming from under the hood and immediately exited the vehicle.

The fire was extinguished by MES (Ministry of Emergency Situations) employees who arrived at the scene, as well as by people who happened to be nearby and helped put out the blaze.

No one was injured as a result of the incident. The causes and circumstances of the fire are currently being investigated.
