Minsk Woman's Hand Trapped in Dough Sheeter: Woman Had to Be Freed with a Gas Cutter
A regular work shift in one of Minsk's cafes almost ended in tragedy. A worker's hand was pulled into the steel rollers of kitchen equipment — special rescue equipment was needed to extract the victim from the trap.

The incident occurred in the daytime on March 1, 2026, at a public catering establishment on Vera Khoruzhaya Street, according to the official Telegram channel of the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
When rescue units arrived at the scene, it was revealed that one of the establishment's employees was severely injured due to her own carelessness while working in the kitchen. The woman's right forearm was tightly trapped between the rollers of an industrial dough-sheeting machine. She could not free herself.
To extract the victim's hand and avoid causing her additional injuries, MES firefighters had to use special equipment. With the help of a gas cutter, as well as a manual hydraulic rescue tool, specialists carefully pried open the mechanism's parts and successfully unblocked the limb.
Immediately after being freed, the woman was handed over to an ambulance crew. The victim was hospitalized for further examination.
