The same bodyguard is often seen next to Nikolai Lukashenko. Who is he?
Alyaksandr Lukashenka is always accompanied by numerous security guards during public appearances. And his youngest son, Nikolai, apparently has his own bodyguard, who appears in public next to him more often than others. The 'Zerkalo' publication found out who he is.

Artyom Sobeshchansky is 31 years old. He is a native of Temirtau city in Kazakhstan, according to official registry data provided to "Zerkalo" by the Belpol association.
In Belarus, he studied at a school in Baranovichi district, then graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization at the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy, as stated on his VK page.

Sobeshchansky changed several jobs unrelated to security: he worked at the "Druzhba" poultry farm, at the "Mir" agro-combine, and in the "Evroopt" online store. In 2019, he joined military unit 3214 — this is the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' internal troops. And in 2021, he transferred to unit 01549, which belongs to the Security Service of Lukashenka Sr.
Sobeshchansky can be seen in photos next to Nikolai Lukashenko starting from at least January 2025. He followed Nikolai like a shadow during the "Unity Marathon" — a series of concerts and other events in support of Alyaksandr Lukashenka and the policy he pursues, before the 2025 presidential elections. Nikolai performed there with a musical number on the piano and several times gave interviews to state channels.

Sobeshchansky also appeared in an amateur video, where he escorts Nikolai to a car. Judging by the details, the footage was taken after the Victory Day parade in 2025.

In July 2025, during the Kupala holiday in Alexandria, Sobeshchansky sat in the auditorium behind Alyaksandr and Nikolai Lukashenka.

Over the past year, Nikolai, together with his father, has been on several foreign trips: for example, in June he accompanied him during a visit to China, in September he attended the SCO summit and a meeting with a representative of the Communist Party, and in December he appeared in the politician's "tour" of Southern countries. However, Artyom Sobeshchansky was not visible in the footage from these trips; the official chronicles showed Lukashenka Sr.'s "main" bodyguards, Andrei Parkhimovich and Dmitry Gerasimchyk.
By the way, in some videos featuring the politician, Nikolai himself can sometimes be mistaken for a security guard. During his father's public appearances, he often stands behind him, looks around carefully, and sometimes even moves in sync with the bodyguards.

In June 2024, during the Belarusian delegation's visit to Mongolia, Nikolai was captured in a photo wearing a T-shirt with the logo of the politician's Security Service.

Officially, Nikolai Lukashenko is currently a student. In 2022, he enrolled in the BSU Biology Faculty. Before the most famous applicant began his studies, the faculty underwent renovations, and security appeared there.
In June 2023, Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated that his youngest son is studying at Peking University as part of a cooperation project between Belarus and China. The Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese university, Hao Ping, said in an interview with Belarusian state TV that Lukashenka Jr. "studies very well, he is the best student in his course."
Starting from his first year of study, Nikolai receives a scholarship from Lukashenka's special fund for supporting talented youth — presumably for excellent results.
