"It's often hard to do the simplest things on 'chemistry'." Tsikhanouskaya expressed condolences over Alena Pankova's death
The democratic leader of Belarus commented on the death of Alena Pankova, who was serving "home chemistry".

"It's very painful to read about the death of Alena Pankova. She was only 54. Alena was convicted for participating in protests and was serving 'home chemistry': a life on a strict schedule and under constant control. It's often difficult to do the simplest things on 'chemistry', including taking care of one's health, because even for a regular doctor's visit, one has to ask for permission and coordinate every step. It's hard to imagine, but this is what daily life looks like for people punished for their civic stance. I express my sincere condolences to Alena's family and loved ones, and especially to her 18-year-old son. Stay strong," Tsikhanouskaya wrote on her Telegram channel.
