A large fire broke out at the largest oil refinery in Al-Ma'ameer, owned by the state-owned company Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco).

Bapco declared a force majeure situation, allowing it to suspend supplies. In a statement, Bapco said that the company's operations "have been affected by the ongoing regional conflict in the Middle East and a recent attack on its refinery complex."
Domestic demand, Bapco emphasized, will be met.
Bahraini agencies report that there were no casualties as a result of the fire, and the extent of the damage caused is being clarified. They attribute the cause of the fire to another Iranian strike.
