An explosion occurred overnight in Liège, Belgium, local police report. No one was injured, but significant damage was recorded.

The entire synagogue district was alarmed by an explosion around 4 AM.
No one was injured as a result of the incident; only material damage was reported: windows were broken in nearby houses.
Police report that the street will remain closed while the investigation is ongoing. A security zone has been established in the immediate vicinity of the synagogue.
The mayor of Liège strongly condemned this act of violence.
"It is unacceptable for us to import conflicts from outside into our city," he said. The mayor was referring to the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran.
