“We will work to organize it.”

Today, Trump's special representative John Cole met with Alexander Lukashenka. After the meeting, Cole was brought to Lukashenka's press pool to talk about the meeting.
Cole said they discussed Lukashenka's possible trip to the USA: “We will work to organize it.”
“President Trump constantly refers to President Lukashenka as his good friend, a respected world leader,” he said.
Cole reported that Trump invited Lukashenka to participate in the next meetings of the Peace Council.
“Some time ago, we were disappointed that President Lukashenka could not come to the meeting of the Peace Council that recently took place in Washington. But President Trump invited President Lukashenka to participate in any other meetings of the Peace Council. We discussed this issue. President Lukashenka confirmed that he will participate in one of the meetings of the Peace Council,” the US special envoy stated.
Cole was asked whether a direct bilateral contact between Lukashenka and Trump, be it a personal meeting or a phone call, should be expected in the short term.
“Yes,” John Cole replied.
Cole also said that he and Lukashenka talked about the relations between Belarus and the USA. “We also discussed what Belarus thinks about the war in Iran, what the USA thinks. And how this situation will be resolved,” Cole said.
And he added more compliments to Lukashenka:
“It is always very valuable to get the opinion of the President of Belarus. Because it is a completely different opinion compared to what we can get in the West. This is very valuable for us. I will definitely convey everything we discussed here today to the USA.”
