51-year-old Ruslan Rasayeu, who retired from the agencies in 2020, has been detained in the KGB pre-trial detention center. He told his cellmates that he once played in KVN and knew Zelenskyy.

According to Belpol, Ruslan Rasayeu served in military unit 64171 (Military Counterintelligence Directorate of the State Security Committee) since 2006.
Rasayeu was born in the former military settlement of Vetryna (Polotsk district, Vitebsk region). He graduated from the Suvorov Military School, and later the Military Academy.
Since his dismissal from counterintelligence in 2020, Rasayeu actively started maintaining social media, where he shared numerous photos from his travels: Maldives, Bali, Turkey, Sweden, Azerbaijan.
In some photos, Vadim Galygin can be seen next to him. A person who met Rasayeu in a KGB pre-trial detention center cell told Nasha Niva that Rasayeu recounted how he played for some time in the Belarusian Club of the Merry and Resourceful (KVN) — perhaps explaining his acquaintance with Galygin. Rasayeu also claimed that he "knows Zelenskyy."
