Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin, during a visit to Moscow, presented Orders of Friendship of Peoples to two Russian generals — Colonel-General Viktor Poznikhir, First Deputy Head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, and Major-General Alexander Pashchenko.

The ceremony took place on April 2 at the Embassy of Belarus in Russia.
Khrenin noted that the order symbolizes mutual trust, respect, and the common historical and spiritual values of the two peoples. He also emphasized the contribution of the awardees to the development of cooperation and strengthening relations between the countries.
In addition, the minister stated that Belarus and Russia continue to cooperate on security issues and advocate for a "just peace" in the region.
