In his short life, Aleksey Asylkhanov managed to fight in a war, lose a leg on the front, and get into a car with a stranger.

For the fourth day, authorities in Russia's Kemerovo Oblast are searching for 23-year-old Aleksey Asylkhanov, a participant in the war with Ukraine and recipient of the title 'Hero of Russia,' who disappeared without a trace on his way to work, writes Baza.
It is reported that Asylkhanov lived in the city of Yurga and, after military service, worked at a college of agrotechnology and service. On the day of his disappearance, he went to work, but in the evening, he stopped responding to calls.
Police and volunteers have joined the search. The man usually drove his own car, but on that day, according to preliminary information, he might have gotten into a car with an unknown person — this information is currently being verified by law enforcement.
Asylkhanov was a reconnaissance drone operator in a paratrooper regiment and received an award for participating in combat operations against Ukraine. He was severely wounded after a drone attack and subsequently had his leg amputated.
