A chain of coffee shops released mugs for the Year of the Belarusian Woman. But it did without Belarusian women
The Hotfix chain of coffee shops decided to originally react to the Year of the Belarusian Woman announced by the authorities — "a year of strength, talent, inspiration, endless external and internal beauty". For this, they released a limited series of mugs with female motifs.

The faces on the mugs became "great women who changed the world, inspired generations, and proved that possibilities have no limits". There were six such women in total, but for some reason, not a single Belarusian woman among them. Only the world's first female cosmonaut, Russian Valentina Tereshkova, is connected to our country at least indirectly, as her parents came from Belarus.

Other heroines are Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, British Princess Diana, French fashion designer Coco Chanel, American aviator Amelia Earhart, and Polish-French scientist, two-time Nobel Prize laureate Marie Skłodowska-Curie.

Nevertheless, as Hotfix assures Belarusian women, the project is "about you. About every Belarusian woman who creates, cares, leads forward, dreams, and doesn't give up every day".

The Hotfix chain operates in several cities of Belarus, including Minsk, Brest, Baranovichi, Grodno, Lida, and Molodechno.
