Circumstances of the death of 36-year-old actress Panettiere, ex-fiancée of Wladimir Klitschko, revealed
The word "overdose" was heard during the 911 call.
According to sources from TMZ, the actress was found dead by a friend in her Greenville, South Carolina home. The 911 call was made on Sunday at 1:51 PM local time. The audio recording of the call includes the word "overdose" and a report that the victim was receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
It is unknown if Panettiere's boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, with whom she periodically dated, was the one who called emergency services.
However, Panettiere could not be revived. Her death was pronounced at 2:32 PM.
According to the police, no initial signs of violence were found, and the circumstances of death do not appear suspicious.
Previously, the actress publicly admitted to struggling with alcohol and drug addiction, as well as depression.
Hayden Panettiere became known for her role as Claire Bennet in the series "Heroes," as well as for her appearances in "Nashville," the "Scream" franchise, and the film "Remember the Titans."
In addition to her film career, the actress garnered public attention for her relationship with Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
