Man killed in Pukhavichy district while trying to avoid a roe deer
The accident occurred on April 15 around 9:30 AM on the Pukhavichy — Uzda — Neharelaje road.
According to preliminary information, a 70-year-old Renault driver was moving towards Uzda and swerved into the oncoming lane after a wild animal — a roe deer — ran onto the road.
In the oncoming lane, he collided with an Infiniti driven by a 44-year-old driver.
As a result of the collision, the Renault driver sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized, where he later died.
