Six coalitions running for the Coordination Council have been recognized as "extremist formations".
The blocks in question are:
— "Your Voice" (leader — Andrei Kolas, 19 people in total),
— "Advance" (Lizaveta Prakopchyk, 13),
— "Stop Being Afraid!" (Tatsiana Martynava, 13),
— "United Civil Platform" (Mikalai Kazlou, 22),
— Movement "Volya" (Mikita Zabuga, 28),
— "Belarusians for Action" (Yury Ziankovich, 12).
This decision was made by the State Security Committee on April 16, according to updated data on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was previously reported that 174 candidates from the nine declared electoral lists were registered for the elections to the 4th convocation of the Coordination Council. The elections will take place from May 11 to May 17.
