White powder found in Metropolitan Hilarion's car turned out to be cocaine
The white powder found by Czech law enforcement in the car of Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeev) of the Russian Orthodox Church turned out to be cocaine. This was confirmed by forensic examination.

“We can confirm: the examination proved that the confiscated white powder is cocaine,” Martina Richterova, a police spokeswoman, told Deník N on Wednesday.
Amidst this high-profile scandal, Patriarch Kirill sent Metropolitan Hilarion from Europe to a Brazilian backwater, noting that further service in Karlovy Vary was impossible for him "due to circumstances."
The ROC hierarch was detained on Sunday, May 24, in the Czech Republic — "containers with a white substance" were found in his car.
The Russian side demanded the metropolitan's "immediate release" and an end to the "persecution of ROC representatives in the Czech Republic."
On May 30, Metropolitan Hilarion returned to Russia. Now, instead of European parishes, the Russian hierarch will have to serve in South America.
Who is Metropolitan Hilarion?
In the past, Hilarion (Alfeev) was the head of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate and was considered one of Patriarch Kirill's closest associates. In 2022, he was appointed head of the Budapest Diocese of the ROC.
However, after a high-profile scandal involving accusations of harassment, Hilarion was sent to the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in the famous resort town of Karlovy Vary, where a large Russian diaspora resides.
"Thank you, Lena! Continue your observation." The officer who wrote to Kharysavaya frequented political emigration chats, and even offered to exchange nudes with some girls.

Религия для народа не только опиум, но еще и кокс. Вижу, Илларион свою паству там не только окормлял, но и окучивал. Не промах батюшка.
