From summer heat to almost frosty nights. Sharp weather changes expected next week
Forecaster Dzmitry Rabau reported on ONT TV channel that the weather in Belarus from May 4 to May 10 will be very changeable: from almost summer heat to a sharp cold snap.
At the beginning of the week, an anticyclone from Western Europe will arrive in the country, bringing warm air.
On Monday, May 4, almost no precipitation is expected. Overnight temperatures will range from +6 to +13 degrees, and during the day it will warm up from +22 in the east to +27 in the west of the country.
On Tuesday, May 5, more humid air will begin to arrive from the west. Short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible in the northwestern regions. Overnight temperatures will be from +6 to +12, and during the day warm weather will persist — from +20 to +26 degrees.
On Wednesday, May 6, local rains are possible in places. Fog is possible in the morning and overnight. Overnight temperatures from +7 to +12, during the day — from +17 in the northwest to +26 in the southwest.
From Thursday, May 7, the weather will start to deteriorate. An active cyclone from the southwest will approach Belarus. It will get colder, the westerly wind will strengthen, and rains will occur almost throughout the country. Overnight temperatures will be from +6 to +11, and during the day the temperature will vary greatly: from +10 in the west to +25 in the southeast.
On Friday, May 8, a cool and humid cyclone from the Baltic Sea is expected. Short-term, in places heavy, rains will occur almost throughout the country. The wind will be gusty. Overnight temperatures will range from +6 in the west to +12 in the east, and during the day only from +7 to +13 degrees.
On the weekend, it will get a little warmer again.
On Saturday, May 9, there will be variable cloudiness, with short rains in places. Overnight temperatures from +3 to +8, during the day from +10 in the northeast to +15 in the south.
On Sunday, May 10, local rains are also possible. Fogs are expected overnight, visibility may drop to 500 meters. Overnight temperatures will fall to 0…+6, and during the day it will be from +13 to +17 degrees.
Thus, in one week in Belarus, the weather can change from heat up to +27 degrees to nighttime cold near zero.
