Belsat editor Alina Koushyk warned about fake messages sent by scammers in her name
The editor of the Belsat TV channel wrote on Facebook that unknown individuals have started sending messages in her name, asking to buy Apple gift cards and forward the codes.

With an Apple Gift Card, you can pay for subscriptions, buy music, movies, and accessories on apple.com or in the Apple Store. Each card has its own 16-digit digital code, which should not be given to third parties to avoid losing funds. And this is precisely what the scammers proposed, writing in Alina Koushyk's name.
“This is fraud. And quite primitive: the 'official' email is written in Polish with errors and sent from an inbox.ru account. It looks more like a bad parody, but unfortunately, even such things sometimes work.”
“Please do not respond to such messages, do not forward any codes, money, or your data, and simply carefully check the sender's addresses. Especially if you are asked to 'urgently' buy or pay for something,” the journalist warns.
She does not know who is trying to deceive people in her name, but these actions can be interpreted both as common fraud and as a deliberate attempt to discredit her. In the comments to the journalist's post, people suggest that special services might also be involved in such activities, writes BAJ.
