Veronika Rum (née Korobka) made it to "Miss Belarus" on her third attempt. She didn't win the crown, but the beauty queen's life after that was quite successful. Now she has boasted on social media that she will be presenting news on television.

Veronika was born in Nesvizh. At school, teachers called the симпатичную (charming) girl a model. But her parents were against such a career and insisted that their daughter study law at Belarusian State University (BSU).
In Minsk, Veronika rushed to storm castings, but without much success. She broke through to "Miss Belarus" on her third attempt — in 2016. As a result, she made it into the top 10 and got a ticket to a luxurious life.
First, she became the official face of the "Gorodeya" football club. Veronika began to be invited as a host for state events — such as the National Theater Award.
Later, she got a role in the music video for the band "Tyani-Tolkai" — playing the scary secretary of Pavel Klyshevsky (who was in the image of a deputy).
In 2017, the girl went to Turkey for the "Miss 7 Continents" beauty pageant. Veronika spoke about the strange scoring system there in an interview: she said the jury even looked at how many cocktails a contestant could drink during dinner. And she herself was almost disqualified because Veronika wanted to meet a friend. But in the end, the girl received the crown.
After that, she modeled for various brands, traveled extensively in Europe — she recounted on Instagram how disappointed she was with Monaco. She also published photos from private jets.
In 2021, Veronika married businessman Dzianis Rum. By the way, together with him, she called for voting for Lukashenka in the last elections.

In 2024, she launched her modeling school, Rum Models. And now she has boasted that she got a job on television. Veronika published a photo on social media with the caption: "Now the main events of the country — in my voice. Your news anchor on STV."
By the way, other participants of Lukashenka's favorite beauty pageant are already working there — Eleonora Kachalouskaya (Miss Belarus — 2023) and Anastasiya Laurynchuk (Vice-Miss Belarus — 2018).
