The news was shared on his Instagram page by Alexander Mazalyaka, co-founder of Enoterra and WIN.

"A segment of the journey full of the most complex and unexpected challenges and experiences. To be continued," he wrote.

WIN is located in the Warsaw district of Wola. Chef Mateusz Karkoszka and co-chef Adam Kubisz are responsible for the cuisine. The Enoterra team is engaged in the import and distribution of wines from small family wineries.

"It's no surprise that WIN, created on the initiative of a wine importer, is a must-visit for all wine lovers. The ground floor houses a bar, lounge, deli, and shop, where you can explore a range of more than 300 wines, including an excellent selection of wines from Central and Eastern European countries. On the second floor, there is a cozy bistro in a minimalist chic style, serving dishes at affordable prices, carefully composed so that their subtly balanced flavors create perfect harmony. All members of our enthusiastic team are well-versed in wine and will gladly help you make your choice," the establishment's description on the guide's website states.

The awards ceremony took place on May 27 in Krakow. This year, the Michelin Guide covered the whole of Poland for the first time, not just individual cities and regions.

Warsaw was included in the guide with 38 restaurants, including 4 with Michelin stars. In total, there are 11 starred restaurants in Poland. This year, 10 Warsaw establishments were included in the Bib Gourmand category, 4 of which received the award for the first time.

Bib Gourmand is a separate Michelin Guide award for establishments with good cuisine at a reasonable price. Inspectors evaluate the quality of ingredients, technique and taste, consistency, kitchen concept, and value for money. The award symbol is the smiling Bibendum ("Bib") man, the Michelin mascot.

The Michelin Guide has been published since 1900. Inspectors anonymously visit restaurants and evaluate the quality of cuisine, service, and value for money.
