Alyaksandr Shahoyka's team in Skopje first defeated "Sileks" from North Macedonia in regular time, and then proved better in a penalty shootout.
Having lost the first match 0-1, the Minsk team had to win by at least a minimal score, and they accomplished this task: Yauhen Malashevich's goal scored in the 16th minute was the only one.
Since the aggregate score after two matches was level, and extra time also yielded no result, it came down to a penalty shootout. And in it, as in the match between BATE Borisov and Albanian "Elbasani", the Belarusian footballers also proved superior.
"Dinamo" won 6-5. Minsk players Raman Byahunoŭ, Fawaz Abdullahi, Artsiom Sakaloŭski, Gulzhigit Alykulov, Andrei Lutskovich, and Uladzislau Kalinin successfully converted their penalties, while Macedonian Angelche Timovski, who took the sixth penalty for his team, missed.
Thus, Minsk "Dinamo" advanced to the 2nd round of the Conference League, where they will face Azerbaijani "Neftchi" from Baku.
