In Minsk, they plan to start construction of a new residential district, Zyalyony Bor. It will be located beyond the Minsk Ring Road in the Partizansky district.
As stated by Vladimir Kukharev, Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, more than 4 million square meters of housing are planned to be built in the new district. The main part of this development will not be for commercial sale, but for citizens in need of improved living conditions, social sector workers, and large families.
In addition, a significant amount of rental housing is planned to be built in Zyalyony Bor.
The project is designed for approximately 10-12 years. According to Kukharev, its implementation will allow the city in the coming years to fulfill its social obligations to provide housing for relevant categories of citizens.
At the same time, commercial housing will also be built in Minsk, but its volumes are planned to be reduced. Among the major projects in the capital, the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee named the completion of the "Minsk-World" district development, the development of the "North Shore" quarter, and satellite towns.
A new construction project is also planned near Zaslavl. Its implementation will require a reorganization of the capital's construction complex.
