In Smolevichi, a criminal case has been initiated following an incident on a children's playground. A 49-year-old citizen of Russia, temporarily residing in Belarus, attacked an 11-year-old schoolboy, reports Smolevichi-24.by.

The incident occurred on September 2, around 18:14, on the children's playground near house No. 3 on Gavrily Tikhov Street. According to information from the Smolevichi District Department of Internal Affairs, the man, "out of hooligan motives," grabbed the boy by the arm and hit him on the head.
On September 3, investigators initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 339 of the Criminal Code of Belarus — for hooliganism.
The suspect was detained by patrol and guard service police officers. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
