The persecution of the management and employees of ZROBIM architects began in April 2026. Then security forces detained about 50 people, and the popular architectural bureau itself was accused of receiving «unaccounted profit» totaling 6 million dollars and paying salaries in envelopes. The total damage to the budget was estimated at more than 5 million rubles.
Andrei Makovsky himself remained in custody. Later, a message appeared on his account: «Greetings from SIZO! Pay your taxes in full, guys».
In June 2026, an announcement appeared on his social networks about the sale of an unfinished villa on the Thai island of Phuket in the elite Botanica Pru Jampa complex, and in July — a plot for a tourist complex on the banks of Vileyka.
