Grodno residents warned that the local CHP will emit a lot of smoke
The "Grodnoenergo" enterprise announced that from August 3 to August 7, scheduled maintenance work will be carried out at the gas distribution point of Grodno CHP-2. In connection with this, the CHP will emit more noticeable smoke for several days.

For this period, the combined heat and power plant, located near the Auls district, will temporarily switch from natural gas to reserve fuel — fuel oil.
Energy workers warned that the use of fuel oil could lead to a change in the color of the smoke coming from the chimneys. Therefore, city residents may notice an unusual appearance of emissions in the area of the CHP.
"Grodnoenergo" explained that this is due to scheduled technical works, and asked residents to be understanding about possible temporary inconveniences.
