Classmates from Minsk Suvorov Military School died on opposite sides of the war five days apart

Aleh Makarchuk and Aliaksei Harabets graduated from the school in 1990 and studied in the same company.

Classmates from the Minsk Suvorov Military School died on opposite sides of the war five days apart.

Aleh Makarchuk and Aliaksei Harabets graduated from the school in 1990 and studied in the same, 3rd company: Makarchuk – in the 2nd platoon, Harabets – in the 3rd. After school, both continued their military education in Kharkiv, reports the Telegram channel "Vitebsk, I'm walking!".

Makarchuk became a colonel of the Air Force of Ukraine and died on July 14, 2022, in Vinnytsia. Harabets commanded the Russian 20th Guards Motorized Rifle Division and died on July 9 of the same year, probably as a result of a Ukrainian strike near Chornobaivka. The classmates found themselves on opposite sides of the war and died only five days apart.
