Almost 2500 people are missing in Nepal and Tibet

As of Saturday morning, 623 people are reported dead.

According to the police, the number of people killed in the devastating sudden flood that occurred on Wednesday in Nepal has risen to 616. In Tibet, at least seven people died, and another 554 are considered missing.

According to Nepal's disaster relief agency, at least 1,924 people are reported missing in the country.

Among them are at least 517 foreign nationals. However, the situation is rapidly changing, and various authorities are providing different figures.

A massive flood wave was caused by a glacial collapse. The surge of water swept through homes and roads and destroyed an important border crossing between Nepal and Tibet.
