Unfortunate Man from Lyakhavichy Disappeared "in the SMO" on the Third Day, While Sister, Cohabitant, and Wife — with Four Children, but Not His Own — Clashed over Funeral Payments

36-year-old Nikolai Antipov from Lyakhavichy enlisted to fight for Putin in military unit 12322, a tank subdivision. He signed the contract in Ryazan, and after a short training period in Voronezh, he went to the front.

It's not even precisely known what call sign he chose: either "Antip" or "Strela". He went on his first combat mission on August 29, 2026, and by September 1, he was declared missing in action by his unit.

This ordinary story is unusual because three women immediately clashed over the funeral payments. Antipov's biological sister — Tatsiana, as well as his Russian wife and Russian cohabitant.

The details of the story are known from Tatsiana. She is seeking support and algorithms of action in specialized chats for relatives of the deceased. She says that her brother, although married on paper, has not lived with his wife for more than four years. Why?

"They met when she already had two children, and was already in a SOP (socially dangerous situation - **NN**), but Kolya paid no attention to her shortcomings.

Then they got married, a year later a daughter was born, but after a DNA test, it turned out that my brother was not the father.

And in April 2022, this wife left Kolya and went to live in another locality, residing with their mutual koum (godfather/friend), with whom she had a fourth child, but my brother registered it as his own!" Tatsiana claims.

However, according to the Belarusian woman, six months later that Russian woman was deprived of parental rights for immoral behavior, and all children were sent to an orphanage.

"My brother didn't want to communicate with her, didn't want to see her; everyone around him told him he needed to get divorced — she was cohabiting with other men!" writes the sister, adding that, unfortunately, this could not be done because Nikolai, according to her, had no money for a divorce.

Meanwhile, Antipov started a relationship with another woman.

"And this year, in May, he went to visit her in Ryazan and stayed to live with her. And three weeks later, he signed a contract for the 'SMO'," Tatsiana writes.

Allegedly, her brother was promised that he would simply be a welder, but in reality, he was given an assault rifle and sent on a one-way trip.

"And so, since September 1, he's been missing in action. This woman from Ryazan loves him and is waiting. But the wife, upon learning that Kolya disappeared in the 'SMO', openly tells everyone that she's waiting for the payout. She doesn't need him! She's waiting for the payout! And the cohabitant is not entitled to anything!" Tatsiana vents in specialized chats. She hopes to receive the funeral payments herself and then share them with her brother's "true" love.

According to her, the thought of finally getting a divorce only occurred to her brother immediately before his combat deployment. He didn't have time to do anything.

Trying to resolve the situation, the sister went to gather evidence in the villages. In the village where Nikolai lived with his new woman, she collected signatures stating that everything was as it seemed.

And in the village where the Russian woman, deprived of parental rights, lives, Tatsiana went to collect signatures attesting that the woman lived not with her brother but with other men. But she hit a snag — the village elder wrote a positive character reference.

As the sister believes, in the hope that the woman will share the funeral payments with him if she receives them. And that woman, allegedly, openly scoffs at the real relative, emphasizing that no matter what, she is the legal wife of the unfortunate man from Lyakhavichy.

The Belarusian woman intends to complain to the prosecutor's office.

In total, more than 500 Belarusians, lured by promises of easy money, have already died or gone missing as part of the Russian army in the aggressive war in Ukraine. As military experts have calculated, the average lifespan of a Russian mercenary at the front is several months, and in assault units — several weeks.

Experts estimated that Russia has lost about 400,000 servicemen killed in four years of war, and over a million have been wounded.
