Pavel Muraveyka officially dismissed from military service

Due to reaching the maximum age.

Former Chief of the General Staff, Major General Pavel Muraveyka, has been dismissed from military service to the reserve due to age, with the right to wear military uniform and insignia. This is stated in Decree No. 327 of September 28 on his appointment as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, which was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.

According to sub-paragraph 210.1 of paragraph 210 of the Regulations on the procedure for military service, the dismissal of a serviceman upon reaching the maximum age for military service is предусмотрено. In this case, the maximum age for military service is 55 years, and Muraveyka turned that age on September 26.
