Former President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus has been hospitalized at Santaras Clinic and underwent surgery, reports LRT.
Adamkus was hospitalized at Santaras Clinic on September 26 due to a sudden deterioration in his health.
After examinations and an assessment of his health, V. Adamkus underwent surgical operation.
“It proceeded without complications, the president is recovering, his condition corresponds to the early postoperative period,” — reports Santaras Clinic.
Valdas Adamkus was hospitalized at Santaras Clinic at the beginning of the year, where he underwent a procedure to restore blood circulation in his legs.
