Residents of Pinsk tried to seize apartments of deceased Muscovites
In Brest, four residents of Pinsk and Pinsk district, aged 55 to 63, were convicted for attempting to fraudulently seize apartments of deceased people in Moscow. The total value of the real estate exceeded 1 million dollars, reported the General Prosecutor's Office.

According to the case materials, from 2021 to 2025, the accused were part of the Belarusian structure of an international criminal organization, with one of them leading it.
The Pinsk residents attempted to obtain inheritance rights using forged documents. For this purpose, they produced fake stamps and seals, and inserted false information and signatures on behalf of other people and government officials into genuine birth and marriage certificate forms.
They failed to seize the apartments because law enforcement agencies stopped their criminal intent.
The Leninsky District Court of Brest found all four guilty and sentenced them to 6 to 9 years of imprisonment with fines ranging from 250 to 600 basic units — from 11,250 to 27,000 rubles.
