European countries to drill deployment of peacekeeping forces to Ukraine
In November, military exercises will be held in Poland, during which European countries will practice the deployment of peacekeeping forces to Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The Times writes about this, citing informed sources.

Around 1500 servicemen from Great Britain, France, Germany and Poland will take part in the maneuvers. They will practice moving personnel and supplying troops with necessary materials, including food and fuel, as part of a potential peacekeeping operation.
According to a source from the UK Ministry of Defense for the publication, the exercises will include a scenario where multinational forces operate in one territory. Other details are not disclosed.
The holding of the maneuvers was agreed upon at the July summit of the "coalition of the willing" in Paris. It includes countries that provide military and financial support to Ukraine in resisting the Russian invasion. According to The Times, these will be the first exercises during which European military personnel will practice actions in Ukraine as a means of deterring Russia.
In July, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated that London could send a military contingent to Ukraine after the cessation of active hostilities. According to him, a coalition led by the UK is ready to deploy multinational forces to guarantee Ukraine's long-term security.
British Defense Secretary Wes Streeting, after meeting with Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth in Washington, announced that the exercises in Poland should help prepare for the organization of necessary military training and post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, in turn, emphasized the crucial importance of the presence of Great Britain and France. According to him, this will help the coalition prepare for the implementation of security guarantees for Ukraine and the entire Central and Eastern European region.
