Now only legal-content websites will have top search results.
Google announced that its new search algorithms that are to be launched soon are going to provide the Internet users with quality and legal content on top search positions.
Pirate resources such as torrent trackers will be deliberately moved down the search results. Google noticed that it receives 4mln page removal requests from copy right holders monthly. This number is more than the total quantity of such requests in 2009.
However, Google can remove a website from search results in accordance with the court’s decision only, but now the corporation promises to rank websites considering the legality of its content.
