In the match for the National Football League championship title, the 'Seattle Seahawks' and 'New England Patriots' met. The game ended in a crushing victory for 'Seattle' with a score of 29:13.
The 'Seahawks' dominated throughout the entire match, winning all four quarters — 3:0, 6:0, 3:0, and 17:13.
The team confidently controlled the course of the match and did not allow the opponent to impose a struggle.
The most valuable player of the match was named Kenneth Walker, a player for the 'Hawks', who gained 135 rushing yards.
Before the start of the season, the 'Seahawks' were not among the title contenders, and a year ago, the team from Washington State did not make the playoffs.
The Super Bowl is the main sporting event of the year in the USA, and the broadcast is the most expensive platform for advertising: for 30 seconds of screen time, companies pay from $8 to $10 million, and all advertising inventory is sold out six months before the event itself.
The headliner of the Super Bowl was Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, who already won a 'Grammy' last Sunday. Before the match, the American anthem was performed by Charlie Puth.
Advertisements were expected from Pepsico, directed by New Zealander Taika Waititi; the food delivery service Uber Eats with actor Matthew McConaughey. Lady Gaga was supposed to advertise real estate from Rocket, and actress Elle Fanning — mayonnaise.
Also advertised were Lay's and Pringles chips, and Emma Stone advertised the website creation company Squarespace. The commercial was directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.
