A book of short prose under this title was released by bard and writer Viktor Shalkevich in Tallinn, reports the Belarusian Writers' Union.

The author, with his characteristic wit, described it thus: «peas with cabbage, a bag of laughter, or Old Testament fables from Central, Middle, Western Europe, America, and other parts of the world. In a word, from those places where the author once had the opportunity to set foot».
The new publication by the renowned Grodno bard and poet, «Chestnut by the Bernardines», has already become his fourth book after «Requiem for Unnecessary Things», «Town G and Surroundings», and «Spring Blues».
