Security forces are escalating the atmosphere before the All-Belarusian People's Assembly
Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov ordered to strengthen round-the-clock security in Minsk, and also to involve sapper groups and groups for internet monitoring. He justified these measures by the preparations for the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.

Kubrakov conducted a briefing on the eve of the delegates' assembly and announced that the republican public safety monitoring system, sapper and pyrotechnic groups, anti-drone units, and internet monitoring would be used for constant control over the situation and infrastructure facilities.
He also ordered to transfer personnel to an intensified service variant and ensure the safety of movement for the assembly participants. The head of the Minsk City Department of Internal Affairs, Mikhail Hryb, confirmed that all buildings associated with the assembly would be under round-the-clock security.
Kubrakov emphasized that the situation can change very quickly, so personnel must be ready to promptly respond to any, including non-standard, situations.
The All-Belarusian People's Assembly is scheduled to take place in Minsk on December 18-19.
