The former president of Venezuela has already been transported from the detention center in Brooklyn. The convoy is now heading to the federal court in Manhattan, where his case is being heard, Fox News reports .

Maduro is accused of narco-terrorism, illegal arms trafficking, and conspiracy to import cocaine. The session will be presided over by District Judge Alvin Hellerstein, and it is expected to begin at noon local time (8:00 PM Minsk time).
Footage broadcast by Fox News shows Maduro being escorted to a helipad in Manhattan and placed into an armored vehicle. His wife Cilia Flores is not seen in the video.
