Trump stated that a peace agreement on Ukraine is being delayed by Zelensky, not Putin
«I think he's ready to make a deal,» Trump said of Putin. «I think Ukraine is less ready for a deal.»

US President Donald Trump claims that Ukraine, not Russia, is hindering the conclusion of a potential peace agreement, writes BBC.
In an exclusive interview with Reuters in the Oval Office, Trump stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is allegedly ready to end the war in Ukraine, which he started and which has been ongoing for almost four years.
«I think he's ready to make a deal,» Trump said of the Russian president. «I think Ukraine is less ready for a deal.»
When asked why US-brokered talks have so far failed to resolve Europe's largest military conflict since World War II, Trump replied with one word: «Zelensky.» «I think it's hard for him to agree to that,» he added after a clarifying question.
Trump's rhetoric sharply contrasts with the position of European allies, who believe that Moscow is not interested in ending the war in Ukraine.
