Belarus has banned the import and sale of several types of Russian non-freezing liquids for car windshields. According to a statement from the Ministry of Health, these products may be dangerous to life and health.

Three products from the company "Himpartner" were banned: "Snowy Road" (-30°C), "Winter Cherry" (-30°C), and "Snow Queen Darya" (-30°C). In addition, "non-freezing liquids" Gleid Clean Effect (manufactured by LLC "Grif"), FREEDOM (manufactured by LLC "Megapolis"), and "Ledarub" (manufactured by LLC "Vay Auto Him") were also banned.
The Ministry advises against buying windshield washer fluids from unknown points of sale and to carefully read the information on the label: it should indicate the manufacturer, its address, expiration date, and purpose — only for vehicles, according to technical specifications. Also, the liquid should contain no more than 0.05% methanol by volume.
The Ministry of Health also noted that other de-icing and anti-icing liquids can be found in store chains. They cannot be used as windshield washer fluids because they contain methyl alcohol, and their packaging may look similar to regular "non-freezing liquids."
