Are you allowed on a bus or minibus with skis and sleds?

Sometimes good locations for winter recreation are quite far from home, and you can get there by car, bus, or minibus. How to correctly transport winter equipment on public transport was explained by representatives of the ticket sales service "Atlas Bus," reports Office Life.

Baggage transportation is regulated by the Road Passenger Transport Rules. They state that a passenger has the right to: free transport of one piece of small hand luggage, as well as skis, hockey sticks, fishing rods, the dimensions of which, when measured by length, width, and height, do not exceed 200 centimeters in total. It is best to pack the equipment in a case.

Are sleds allowed on the bus? Yes, according to the rules, a passenger can also transport children's sleds for free, representatives of the service clarified.

«The rules do not mention the currently popular "vatrushki-tubes" (snow tubes), but most likely, it's better to deflate them before the trip. Note that it will not be possible to take a set of equipment for all winter entertainments at once: you should choose only one thing,» — added "Atlas Bus".

Baggage in the cabin or special compartment must be placed according to the driver's instructions.
