Minsk resident bought a blanket and mattress topper eight times more expensive than they cost
An unknown man came to the apartment of an 80-year-old Minsk resident and offered her a blanket and mattress topper under the guise of presenting valuable gifts from state bodies, but with the condition of partial payment for them.
The pensioner agreed and handed the man 400 rubles. A few days later, she realized that she had purchased unnecessary goods at a significantly inflated price, and contacted the police with a request to find the seller and cancel the deal.
An examination was appointed. Forensic experts determined that the cost of the blanket and mattress topper was 50 rubles, whereas the applicant paid eight times more for them, according to the State Committee of Forensic Expertise.
A criminal case has been initiated on this fact under the article "fraud", and the identity of the suspect has been established.
