Yulia Tymoshenko released on $765,000 bail

The High Anti-Corruption Court also prohibited her from leaving the Kyiv region.

Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has been released on 33 million hryvnias bail ($760,000). Earlier, she complained that she could not pay the bail due to blocked accounts.

The High Anti-Corruption Court also prohibited her from leaving the Kyiv region, "RBC-Ukraine" reports.

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office proposed releasing Tymoshenko on bail of 50 million hryvnias ($1.15 million).

Earlier, Tymoshenko was subjected to searches, and she was identified as a suspect in a case alleging she bribed Verkhovna Rada deputies to vote for certain legislative projects.
