The authorities deemed unfavorable the information from meteorologists that an elevated level of air pollution has persisted in Minsk in recent days. Propagandist bots flooded the comments under the relevant TikTok videos.

According to Belgidromet data, on January 20-21, exceedances of hygienic air pollution standards were recorded in Minsk. This was associated with meteorological phenomena: there was no wind, and also no air inversion, as the air near the ground was colder than in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
But the bots received an order to prove that there are no other phenomena besides phenomena of happiness. "I walk every day, I don't notice anything" — such identical comments appeared simultaneously.

"And we walk in Uruchcha every day. We enjoy the winter beauty, the weather. We haven't noticed anything like that," "I live between Uruchcha and Radialnaya, I walk for a long time every day, I haven't noticed anything unusual. Fresh frosty air!!!" — write the bots and assure: "Everything is great with us, don't invent things."

Others claim that they breathe "fantastically," and call reports about poor air quality "complete nonsense":

"Today we walked on the street, it was wonderful to breathe."
"Complete nonsense!!!!!"
"Complete nonsense, it breathes as it always has... A sharp temperature drop, that's why the hoarfrost appeared..."
"There is no smog."
Probably, the bots also organized a roll call of districts.

"I live in Uruchcha, and our air is normal. It's normal to breathe, frosty. No need to invent fairy tales and escalate. Everything is fine with us, both in Minsk and throughout the country."
"Leninsky district. Everything's normal."
"Everything's normal, Zavodsky district."
"In Uruchcha everything's normal."
"Nothing like that in Uruchcha. I live in Uruchcha. Where did you dig this up from?"
"Interesting!!! Today I was in all districts of Minsk!!!! Everything is excellent! Frost and sun!!! Who finds it hard to breathe there???"
"Partizansky district... everything's fine... Fresh frosty air."
Meanwhile, ordinary people wrote something completely different:
"And I wonder why Uruchcha smells like a car workshop."
"Library District — there's nothing to breathe all day. It only subsides a bit by evening."
"Same in Kamennaya Gorka."
"Horror on Radialnaya."

Some users even shared screenshots from their gadgets with air quality data.
