NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada, stated that Western military contingents will be deployed in Ukraine after a peace agreement is signed with Russia.

According to Rutte, it concerns a "coalition of the willing" — countries that have agreed to send their forces to ensure security in Ukraine.
"As soon as a peace agreement is reached, armed forces, aircraft in the air, and naval support will appear from those countries that have agreed," said the alliance's secretary general.
Rutte clarified that those NATO members who do not join this coalition will "help in other ways."
