Starting from March 17, tickets for flights from Minsk to Vietnam, Sri Lanka, China, and Turkey will cost more, as Belavia airline is increasing its fuel surcharge.

Travel agencies and travelers are advised to pay at least half of the tour cost as soon as possible to fix the current price. If this is not done, an additional payment of about 35 dollars will be required for flights on the Minsk — Mattala, Nha Trang, Sanya, and Istanbul — Minsk routes.
It is possible that a similar price increase will affect flights to Thailand. Once a ticket has been issued, any changes to it will only be possible with a penalty according to the airline's rules.
The increase in fuel surcharge is not only happening at Belavia. This is due to rising oil prices and more complex air travel logistics because of the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
It was previously reported that Belavia plans additional flights to Vietnam and Sri Lanka. This is due to an increase in tourist interest in Asian destinations. The first flight from Minsk to Nha Trang is scheduled for March 20, the second for March 27, although initially, flights to Vietnam were only planned to launch on March 31.
